On August 30, 2024, CSU Andrews College of Allied Health Sciences organized a Testimonial Ceremony to honor 110 newly Registered Medical Technologists. The event began with a motorcade around Tuguegarao City and a Eucharistic celebration.
The ceremony commenced with opening remarks from Dr. Julius T. Capili, Dean of the College of Allied Health Sciences, extending a warm welcome to the new RMTs, their families, and guests. He expressed pride in the accomplishments of the new RMTs and emphasized the vital role they will play in the healthcare system. Dr. Capili encouraged the passers to embrace their responsibilities and to always strive for excellence in their profession.
This was followed by an inspirational message from the Campus Executive Officer, Mr. Ramon Henry Peregrino O. Kanapi. Dr. Mariden Ventura Cauilan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, also delivered an inspiring message, highlighting the achievements of the College of Allied Health Sciences. She urged the passers to recognize the blessings they have received and to use their skills to serve humanity effectively. “You are now ready to enter the real world where you will practice your profession,” she said, urging them to embody the values instilled during their education at CSU.
Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the University President, congratulated the new RMTs for their accomplishments. He expressed pride in their performance, particularly given the university's limited resources, and encouraged them to strive for excellence in their careers.
The ceremony included the presentation of the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination (MTLE) passers, awarding ceremonies, and heartfelt testimonies from the new RMTs, who shared their experiences and gratitude for the support they received during their stay at CSU.
