Tuguegarao City, Cagayan — Demonstrating both academic excellence and a deep commitment to the teaching profession, Cagayan State University (CSU) proudly celebrates the victory of one of its own at the 2025 CBRC National Teacher Education Quiz Bee—Provincial Level, held on April 9.
Themed “Challenging Boundaries, Revolutionizing Competencies with AI,” the competition brought together 65 aspiring educators from private and public institutions in the province, including several representatives.
Rising above the competition was Marc Francis Geneta, a fourth-year Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in Science at CSU–Andrews Campus, who emerged as the Champion after excelling in both the General Education and Professional Education categories. His exceptional performance not only secured first place but also underscored the strength of CSU’s teacher education program and its role in nurturing future-ready educators.
Geneta shared that this win was a combination of hard work, consistent study, and faith.
His achievement serves as a powerful testament to the quality of training at CSU and the determination of its students to rise to national standards.
