Tuguegarao City -- To bolster learning, the PhD-ELE & MAEd students conducted a culminating activity as their joint final task in their graduate school courses at Smart Room Cagayan State University (CSU) - Andrews Campus on 17th this year.

Bannering the theme: Beyond Excellence: Advancing English Language Curriculum through Innovative Programs and Academic Writing, the said activity sought to propose educational projects and present proposals on teaching, on pedagogy, and on research.
The said activity was paneled by three (3) select experts: Dr. Mariden Ventura-Cauilan (University Professor and Vice President for Academic Affairs), Dr. Conchita M. Temporal (Professor VI / English Language Professor), and Mr. Dante S. Abella (Education Program Supervisor, English Curriculum Implementation Division).

Dr. Ventura-Cauilan said that teachers should excel in three (3) aspects: knowledge, skills, and attitudes. In addition, Dr. Temporal mentioned that a teacher must do three actions: prepare, prepare, and prepare. She also added that no ever instructional materials can replace the teacher, because the teacher himself/herself is the best instructional material; an expression which was agreed by Mr. Abella as he explained the role of the teachers inside the modernized class, that teachers should be compassionate towards the students.
Furthermore, the students' professors, namely: Dr. Chelito A. Malamug (Program Chair - PhD ELE, EM, and MAED), Dr. Pauline Grace P. Casil-Batang (Campus Academic Affairs Director/Program Quality Assurance Coordinator), and Dr. Romel Tagumasi ( Department Chair - General Education) were supportive of the said activity, giving commentaries on the success of the activity.
On the other hand, this is the second culminating activity of the graduate school for this year and it serves as an extension activity of the office.

Meanwhile, the guests and faculty members were given tokens and certificates as a language of gratitude for the insightful inputs.
