Cagayan State University–Andrews Campus hosted the Department of Science and Technology–National Research Council of the Philippines (DOST-NRCP) event entitled “May Magandang Bukas mula sa Pagtuklas,” showcasing research on San Miguel, Isabela’s eco-tourism potential.
Aiming to leverage research expertise and funding by fostering a multidisciplinary hub and connecting its members through a strong network, the NRCP was established to drive progress, support scientific publications, and address national and international issues for a better Philippines.
This objective was further strengthened by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the NRCP and CSU, represented by Dr. Junel B. Guzman, Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension.
Meanwhile, NRCP President Ma. Louise Antonette N. De Las Peñas emphasized the importance of collaboration between the academe, LGUs, communities, and other stakeholders in creating meaningful change.
“Let’s continue discovering, innovating, and sharing knowledge to create more impact, benefit communities, and change lives,” De Las Peñas added.
